Description

Vanadium-nitrogen alloy is a new kind alloy additive that can replace ferrovanadium for microalloyed steel making. Vanadium nitride added to the steel can improve the overall strength, toughness, ductility and thermal fatigue resistance of steel and other mechanical properties, making the steel good weldability. With achieving the same steel strength, adding vanadium nitride can save vanadium amount by 30-40%, thereby reducing costs.
